Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310
The imagePROGRAF PRO-310 is an inkjet printer for photo enthusiasts that offers a 10-color pigment ink system, high photographic image quality, lightfastness and abrasion resistance for print formats up to A3+. It is the successor to the popular imagePROGRAF PRO-300
. The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 meets the needs of photographers who want to print their photos in high quality and present them as works of art for a long time. By using the newly developed LUCIA PRO II¹ pigment ink, the PRO series achieves outstanding photo print quality with rich colors and deep blacks - while at the same time improving the light and abrasion resistance of the prints.
The LUCIA PRO II inks are also used in the higher-quality imagePROGRAF models. They are characterized by a special pigment that is resistant to UV rays and does not degrade easily. As a result, the prints remain color-stable for up to 200 years² and can also be archived for the long term. When printing on high-gloss paper, a special wax added to the printing ink smoothes the surface and makes the prints particularly abrasion-resistant. It also prevents scratches during further use of the prints - e.g. when framing or packaging for transportation.
When printing on glossy paper, the transparent Chroma Optimizer ink suppresses light reflections and ensures an even gloss. The colors of the photos are thus reproduced true to the original regardless of the lighting, viewing angle or other environmental conditions. When printing on fine art paper, the matt black ink with high black density ensures deep black tones.
The printer can be perfectly combined with the Canon Professional Print & Layout software, offering a seamless workflow with impressive results.
With the exception of the matt black ink, the same pigment ink is used as in the imagePROGRAF PRO-6600/4600/2600/1100 models for the 9 colors.
The matte black is the same as the imagePROGRAF GP-4000/2000
when using Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum.
