On long excursions into nature, birdwatching can become very tedious due to all the equipment. With the new SFL binoculars - "SmartFocus and Lightweight" - ZEISS now offers compact high-performance binoculars that, thanks to their light weight, do not represent an additional burden even on
time-consuming excursions. The new SFL binoculars are optimized in every respect for light weight and size: The objective lens diameter has been reduced by 2mm, allowing thinner lens elements to be installed at closer spacing, saving up to 20% in weight and up to 13% in volume compared to the ZEISS Victory SF models.
As a result, the new SFL binoculars are up to 30% lighter than
comparable competitor products. The lightweight but robust magnesium housing also ensures durability and longevity - for generations to come.

With a field of view of up to 140 m at 1,000 m (SFL 8x30) and a closest focusing distance of 1.5 m, they deliver the optimum overview combined with precise detail recognition. The Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) Concept stands for a special coating and an improved optical design, which ensures the highest detail recognition and reproduces colors true to life. The smallest features in plumage can thus be precisely identified and species reliably distinguished. Thanks to LotuTec® coating, water droplets and dust particles simply roll off the lenses, ensuring a clear view at all times. With 90% light transmission and ZEISS T* multi-coating, details are recognized cleanly and precisely even in twilight, so that every moment can be captured even in darker
environments.
