The SFL design combines lightness and optimal compactness with the highest optical performance. The SFL's significant weight and length reduction is made possible by:

• Thinner lens elements
• Reduced distance between lens elements
• Binocular body made of lightweight magnesium

Especially under difficult conditions or on long day trips with a lot of equipment (e.g. spotting scope, tripod, camera, thermal imager, riflescope etc.) the equipment should be as light as possible. Only then can you fully concentrate on the birding or hunting moment. The SFL allows for long and fatigue-free observing without worrying about sore arms or a sore neck. The compact size also makes it exceptionally easy to stow away.

Even in extreme situations such as rain or high humidity, you always maintain a clear view thanks to the LotuTec® coating on the lenses, on which water droplets and dust particles simply roll off. The ergonomics of the new ZEISS SFL models have been optimized, allowing quick and easy positioning of the eye for comfortable and immersive viewing.

Our proven SmartFocus Concept ensures easy, comfortable handling. It includes a perfectly positioned focusing wheel in the DoubleLink Bridge for fast and precise focusing - even when wearing gloves. Whether focusing on everything in sight or on the smallest details, the range from close focus to infinity is just 1.5 turns apart. Improved eyecups also guarantee an ergonomic feel with smooth transitions between stop points that are precisely defined and perfectly reachable. So that no moment in nature is missed.
