Canon EOS R10
The perfect next step in photography. Whether you're transitioning from your first DSLR, smartphone or compact camera, the EOS R10 gives you so much more.
With fast continuous shooting at 15 fps with a mechanical shutter and up to 23 fps with an electronic shutter, it reliably captures fleeting moments. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with Deep-learning uses advanced subject detection of people, animals and vehicles and covers 100% of the sensor area for focusing and tracking subjects. Exceptional 4K footage can be captured beyond the usual maximum 30-minute recording time with 4K 30p from oversampling the 6K sensor data, and 4K 60p with crop is available for smooth slow-motion effects.
More sharpness
The EOS R10 is equipped with the renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF II focusing system, programmed with Deep-learning AI technology for advanced subject recognition. It's fast, accurate and incredibly sensitive in low light - even in situations lit only by moonlight
. Experience a whole new kind of autofocus
The EOS R10 can detect people, vehicles and animals - such as cats, dogs and birds - and track them as they move in the frame. Even when they move very fast, the result is razor sharp.
When photographing people, the EOS R10 focuses on the subject's eyes - the 'window to the soul'. If the eyes are not visible, the face is tracked instead. If your subject turns away for a moment, the head is in focus and if it is not visible, the focus goes to the body.
More speed
React intuitively and capture fleeting moments with fast continuous shooting - ideal for wildlife and sports photography. The EOS R10 can capture RAW, JPEG or HEIF images at up to 15 frames per second (or 23 fps with the electronic shutter). The camera tracks the subject over the entire frame and continuously adjusts focus and exposure to the changing scene.
Capture fractions of a second
In RAW burst mode, photos can be taken at up to 30 fps and 75% crop. These images are then saved in a video file to organize them clearly and easily. Later, individual images can be extracted using our free (DPP) software. When PreRec is activated in the camera menu, the EOS R10 starts shooting 0.5 seconds before you press the shutter button - so you always capture the perfect moment.
Fast response
The camera also responds quickly to your inputs, giving you a big advantage when you want to capture that one decisive moment. The DIGIC X processor ensures high response speed, minimizing viewfinder lag and darkening so you're always connected to your subject.
More flexibility
Whether you're shooting stills, video or a mix of both, the EOS R10 always delivers outstanding image quality. Weighing just 429g, it's extremely portable, so you can take it with you wherever you go.
The perfect balance
A 24.2 megapixel sensor provides the ideal balance between detail, speed and low-light performance. The maximum sensitivity of ISO 32,000 (expandable to ISO 51,200) ensures more detail and less noise when shooting in the dark. There's also a built-in flash to give you extra light when you need it.
4K that exceeds your expectations
The EOS R10 captures exceptional 4K video footage that looks great on UHD displays and allows cropping without loss of quality when editing Full HD projects. Filmmakers can choose between 4K/60p, for smooth playback of moving subjects or for slow motion effects, and 4K/30p, which is created by oversampling the 6K data from the camera's 24.2 megapixel sensor. The results have to be seen to be believed.
Enormously smooth motion
When shooting in Full HD mode, frame rates of up to 120 fps can be used, revealing even more subtleties in the movement of your subjects. And for scenes that move slowly, the ability to create stunning 4K and Full HD time-lapse videos in-camera gives you even more creative options.
More comfort and ease of use
From the moment you pick up the EOS R10, you'll feel connected to it, as if it's an extension of your creative vein. The buttons and dials are intuitive under your fingers and thumbs, and the camera's electronic viewfinder (EVF) offers a clear and precise subject view.
The APS-C advantage
The camera is equipped with an APS-C sensor. This offers 1.6 times more telephoto range with your lens than the same focal length with a full-frame camera. This allows you to get much closer to your subjects for stunning shots of wildlife and action.
More connectivity options
The EOS R10 can be connected wirelessly to your smartphone so you can quickly share your creativity with friends and followers. You can post to social media, send video clips to friends and upload images to cloud accounts so they're ready when you get home.
