Das Canon 24-105 mm ist ein tolles Allround-Objektiv. Eins zum immer drauf haben. Mit der durchgehenden Lichtstärke von 4,0 ist es ein wahrhaftig zuverlässiger Partner für (fast) jede Situation. In der Dämmerung und für Nachtaufnahmen ist es eher weniger gut geeignet, es sei denn man besitzt ein gutes Gehäuse zu dem Objektiv mit einer hohen Dynamic-Range und einem tollen Rauschverhalten. Der Bildstabilisator arbeitet sehr zuverlässig und bei Videoaufnahmen ist er wenig bis kaum zu hören. Der Fokus von dem Objektiv ist sehr schnell und zugleich unglaublich präzise.

Ich hatte das "alte" 24-105 L. Mit dem "alten" 24-105 konnte man wunderschöne Bilder machen. Und doch hatte es einige Schwächen. Es hatte diverse Probleme in Gegenlichtsituationen. Auch dieses Problem mit dem "heraussacken" des Tubus. Siehe dazu auch den Test von Traumflieger. Das neue 24-105 II ist ein sinnvolles Upgrade für die Personen, die immer auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Bild sind. Denn du wirst es sehen. Das Ergebnis ist in Summe das bessere Bild. Bei kleinem Budget oder wenn du nicht immer auf der Suche nach dem IDEAL bist, dann ist das alte 24-105 keine schlechte Wahl. Aber das neue 24-105 II legt da halt noch mal ne Schippe obendrauf ;-)
