[2] Important note: The Voice Coil Motor (VCM) of the RF 20mm F1.4 L VCM generates a weak magnetic field. It is generally safe to use. However, it is advised to consult a physician if you require a pacemaker or other medical device for individualized information on any risks. When the lens is not attached to a camera or when the camera is turned off, the components inside the lens may make noise. This is quite normal and not a malfunction. Such minimal movement during transportation will not affect performance.
[3] Splash and dust proof lenses are fitted with a rubber ring on the lens mount which may cause slight abrasion on the camera bayonet. This does not affect the lens or camera performance in any way.
