The XF23mm F2 R WR is a moderate wide-angle lens characterized by its excellent resolution. In terms of size and design, it matches the XF35mm F2, with which it forms a series of stylish, compact XF lenses with a speed of F2. The internal focusing system uses a stepping motor that brings the lens elements of the focus group into the correct position quickly and almost silently. In addition, it has a classic focal length of 23 mm (equivalent to: 35 mm KB) and is therefore suitable for a wide range of subjects, from snapshots to landscapes and portraits. The lens is weather and dustproof and works reliably even at temperatures as low as -10°C.

Beginnen möchte ich mit dem einzigen Kritikpunkt, bekanntermaßen ist das Objektiv bei Offenblende f2 an der absoluten
Naheinstellgrenze etwas weich, bei etwas mehr Distanz bzw. ab Blende 2,8 an der Naheinstellgrenze ist das Objektiv knackscharf.
Die Verarbeitung ist wie bei dem 35 bzw. 50 f2 absolut erstklassik. Der Autofokus liegt auch auf der Höhe der Zeit und hebt sich
definitiv von den "älteren" Objektiven, z.B. 35mm 1,4 positiv ab.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der f2 Reihe (23mm, 35mm, 50mm) ist wirklich sehr gut! Ich würde das Objektiv wieder kaufen.
