Fujifilm XF27mm f2.8 R WR
With the FUJINON XF27mm F2.8 R WR, FUJIFILM has added a flat pancake lens to the X series line-up. The focal length of 27 mm (equivalent to 41 mm KB) creates an image effect comparable to the human visual impression and is therefore suitable for a wide range of photographic tasks, from snapshots and portraits to landscape photography. Its compact design, high image quality and weather-resistant housing make the lens the ideal everyday companion.
Easy-to-read aperture ring
The aperture ring of the new XF27mm F2.8 R WR has an easy-to-read scale. The user can see the set value at a glance without having to look through the viewfinder or on the camera display. A locking function allows the aperture ring to be locked in the "Auto" position to prevent accidental adjustment when shooting.
Splash and dust-proof housing
The XF27mm F2.8 R WR is also suitable for use in bad weather and adverse conditions. Seven seals protect the inside of the lens from splash water and dust and ensure that it is ready for use in cold conditions down to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
Flat and light
The focal length of the XF27mm F2.8 R WR is almost identical to the diameter of the image circle required to fully cover the APS-C sensor (28.4 mm).
The XF27mm F2.8 R WR is one of the smallest and lightest lenses in the XF series. It measures just 62 mm in diameter and is exceptionally handy with a length of just 23 mm. At around 84 grams, it is also very light, making it the ideal choice for situations where compact equipment and little luggage are required.
High image quality and fast autofocus
Despite its flat design, the optical construction of the new lens contains seven elements in five groups, including an aspherical lens to correct optical errors such as spherical aberrations and distortion. Due to this design, the XF27mm F2.8 R WR offers high resolution performance, even when the aperture is fully open.
The XF27mm F2.8 R WR has a powerful AF motor for fast and precise automatic focusing. The five elements of the front lens group effectively correct common aberrations when shooting close-up or distant subjects. High image quality is therefore guaranteed over the entire focus range.
