With the close focusing distance of only 12.9cm, interesting wide-angle macros can be created, whereby the foreground object can be nicely separated from the background. In contrast to a 1:1 or 2:1 magnification, the 1:2 magnification offers a more practical focusing distance, making it possible to place the main subject large in the foreground and at the same time integrate many details of the surroundings into the shot.

Thanks to the high-performance optical design, consisting of 16 elements in 11 groups (including 2 aspherical and 4 high-quality ED lenses), the image quality is outstanding. Lens flares can also be controlled very well and

focusing is manual. The aperture is set electronically directly on the camera, EXIF data is transferred.

The 62mm filter thread for screw-in filters is practical when on the move. This means that no extra filter holder is required.
