I had originally given a worse review because the delivery was a few days late and I had missed a discount by a hair's breadth. But Foto Erhardt contacted me and accommodated me. I appreciate customer support like that!About the optics themselves:Everything is well packaged, in addition to the lens hood, the lens also comes with a case (a practice that the competition (e.g. OM system) has unfortunately abandoned even for pro lenses).As I have only recently switched to full frame and otherwise only own the f1.8 fixed focal lengths from Panasonic, I was initially surprised by the size and the massive weight (I have read about this, but it seems different in practice). It certainly makes my S5II feel like a "serious" camera.The zoom mechanism runs as smooth as butter and can be locked for traveling (although for me, an Oly convert, it's "upside down"). Despite f4, you can achieve a very nice boukeh. I was also impressed by the macro capabilities, but most of all by the optical image stabilization. Dual IS for videos is just awesome!All in all, a top lens if you can carry it.

Zur Optik selbst:
Alles gut verpackt, neben der Gegenlichtblende kommt die Optik auch mit einem Köcher (eine Praxis, von der sich die Konkurrenz (zB OM-System) leider selbst bei Pro-Optiken verabschiedet hat).
Da ich erst kürzlich auf Full Frame umgestiegen bin und sonst nur die f1.8er Fixbrennweiten von Panasonic mein eigen nenne, war ich erstmal von der Größe und dem wuchtigen Gewicht überrascht (habe davon gelesen, wirkt aber in der Praxis doch anders). Meine S5II fühlt sich damit jedenfalls nach einer "ernstzunehmenden" Kamera an.
Zoommechanismus läuft butterweich und kann blockiert werden fürs Reisen (allerdings für mich also Oly-Umsteiger "verkehrt herum"). Trotz f4 erreicht man uU ein sehr schönes Boukeh. Die Makrofähigkeiten haben mich auch beeindruckt, am meisten jedoch die optische Bildstabiliisierung. Dual IS für Videos ist einfach nur geil!
Also insgesamt eine Top-Linse, wenn man sie tragen kann.
