A fixed focal length lens that, at approximately 50mm and a speed of F1.4, offers an angle of view similar to that of the human eye. The shallow depth of field at full aperture offers photographers ideal conditions for fascinating portraits and still lifes. For landscape shots or snapshots, a smaller aperture with greater depth of field can be selected. Standard lenses offer a wide range of photographic applications and have therefore been part of photographers' basic equipment for decades. This standard lens offers a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 60mm on the Micro Four Thirds system and 45mm on the Sony E-mount system.

Sehr scharfes und fein abbildende Objektiv, bereits bei Offenblende, würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen. Hoffentlich bringt Sigma mehr Objektive dieser Qualität.

Schon zwei Tage nach dem Kauf war dieses Objektiv mein Standard auf der OM-D E-M1 und ist es immer noch.
Hier wird gezeigt, dass maximale Auflösung nicht auf Kosten eines weichen Bokehs gehen muss. Wenn man minimale Farbsäume in Kauf nimmt, ist die offene Blende mit ihrer eindrucksvollen Freistellung uneingeschränkt brauchbar, leicht abgeblendet sind auch die Farbsäume weg. Die Fokalebene wird ab Offenblende absolut pixelscharf gezeichnet, ohne andererseits überzeichnet zu wirken, und stellt darin auch das hervorragende Oly M.Zuiko f/2.8 12–40 PRO in den Schatten. Unschärfebereiche sind weich und wirken sehr gefällig. Insgesamt sehen die Bilder ausgesprochen kontrastreich, natürlich und hochwertig aus. Das manuelle Fokussieren macht mit dieser Optik ebenfalls Spaß, der Fokusring läuft satt und fühlt sich „mechanisch“ an, es braucht aber etwas Sorgfalt, denn der Schärfebereich ist bei offener Blende nur wenige Zentimeter tief! Fazit: Eine Festbrennweite, bei der das Zoom immer öfter in der Tasche bleibt. Uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.
