Despite its high-quality optics, the lens remains extremely compact and has a pancake-style design with an overall length of just 23.5 mm from the bayonet mount.

The COLOR SKOPAR 18 mm F2.8 aspherical X-mount offers an angle of view equivalent to 28 mm in full-frame format, establishing itself as a popular standard for wide-angle lenses. This makes it ideal for snapshots and versatile photo opportunities. The low close-up limit of just 17 cm also opens up exciting perspectives and allows the photographer a high degree of creative freedom

The focus ring of the lens is provided with a bump that enables simple and precise control. The approximate focus point can be set effortlessly without having to look at the distance scale, making quick focusing easier

With 10-element aperture blades and 1/3-stop clicks, the lens also produces beautiful bokeh

*2 It is recommended to change the depth of field display in the housing settings to the film standard (the same value as the depth scale engraved on the product).
*3 If the firmware of the housing is lower than the specified value, the performance may not be displayed or some functions may be limited, so please use the latest firmware.
*4 When using with the X-T2, it is possible to display the f-number by changing the aperture value display from TNo to FNo in the settings.
*5 When using with a model that does not support electronic communication, change the body setting [Release without lens] to "Allow"
