The Voigtländer Heliar 40mm f2.8 is a great standard lens with 10 aperture blades for balanced bokeh.
The 40mm F2.8 Heliar aspherical VM is a compact and universally applicable lens with a lens configuration of five lenses in three groups, based on the traditional Voigtländer Heliar design
. Inaddition to the ultra-compact design, a highlight is the elegant and precisely manufactured focusing lever, which can also be fixed via an engagement mechanism. With an overall length of 21.2 mm, the lens itself remains pleasantly compact on the camera and does not protrude into the viewfinder image. The imaging performance is convincing even at open aperture with a very good sharpness up to the peripheral areas, the shortest shooting distance is 0.7 meters. The 40 mm F2.8 Heliar aspherical VM is retro-styled on the outside, but equipped with the latest optical technology on the inside.
The weight is 131 g. A lens hood and a hood cap are included. Both mount versions are available in black or silver respectively (lens hood and hooded cover only available in black - also for the silver version).
