This fast standard focal length offers a natural perspective comparable to the human eye for a wide range of applications.
The Planar T* 2/50 ZM offers high imaging performance even at full aperture, allowing the use of targeted cropping effects.
The Planar lens design is the most successful camera lens concept - also the most copied of all time. Modifications to the proven 6-lens basic type still allow high imaging performance to be achieved for the demands of today's sensors. Lenses with Planar Optics design enable very consistent performance over a wide range of imaging scales, the crucial requirement for universal macro lenses.
