Fujifilm presents the tilt-shift lens of the GFX series. The Fujinon GF Tilt 30mm f5.6 extends the professional application range of the mirrorless GFX camera, which is particularly interesting for professional photographers who want to expand their photographic expression possibilities in architecture, landscape or advertising photography. Product images show optional accessories and application examples .
The GF 30mm F5.6 T/S is a wide-angle lens with a focal length of 30 mm (equivalent to 24 mm KB). It is equally suitable for both landscape and architectural photography. The optical system includes 16 elements in eleven groups, including three aspherical lenses, two ED lenses, and one Super ED lens, and the
designensures advanced optical correction of image aberrations and high resolving power. A large-diameter aspherical front lens and three ED elements ensure flawless imaging performance. Distortion and lateral chromatic aberration are corrected without electronic aids,
and spherical aberration, coma, and field curvature are reduced to a minimum, ensuring high sharpness to the corners of the image even when the lens plane is shifted.
FUJIFILM's proprietary Nano GI coating ensures pristine image quality
.
It causes a slight change in the refractive index on the lens surface, suppressing unwanted reflections that often cause annoying aperture spots or ghost images, especially with wide-angle lenses.
The tilt-shift mechanism allows the plane of focus (tilt) to be shifted by ±8.5° and the lens plane (shift) to be shifted by ±15 mm. The advanced optical design of the GF30mmF5.6 T/S allows it to be exceptionally compact. Although it illuminates an image circle of approximately 85 mm Ø, the lens is only 138.5 mm long and weighs only 1,340 grams.
Theuse of an aspherical element as the front lens results in an easy-to-handle filter size of 105 mm Ø*3 , allowing a variety of filter attachments to be used in landscape and architectural photography, for example. The lens is supplied with a special tripod clamp, which also serves as a tool to correct slight shifts of the optical center when tilting the lens plane. This helps to avoid parallax errors during shooting, so that several individual images can later be seamlessly combined into a panorama or multishot shot
