Ultra-high image quality
The lens consists of 20 lenses in 13 groups. This includes two Super ED lenses and one aspherical lens that reduce chromatic aberrations and provide excellent imaging performance.

Powerful image stabilization
The lens is equipped with a powerful image stabilization system that allows up to 5 EV stops longer exposure time according to CIPA guidelines. This allows the photographer to take advantage of the GFX sensor's maximum sharpness performance even when shooting handheld, which is particularly prone to blur in medium format.

Quiet and fast autofocus
The autofocus is driven by a silent, high-precision and fast linear motor. The lens also features a new mechanism that allows the position of the linear motor to be fixed when the power is turned off or during playback to prevent additional vibration.

Rugged, weatherproof housing
The lens is sealed at 10 points to prevent dust and splashing water from entering, so it can be used in adverse weather conditions and even in temperatures as low as minus ten degrees Celsius.
