The intelligent lens design incorporates two AA (Advanced Aspherical) elements and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements to effectively suppress chromatic aberrations and ensure high shooting quality across the entire image range, even at the maximum aperture of F1.8. The lens offers excellent close-up performance with a minimum focus distance of 0.19 meters (maximum magnification: 0.2x) and delivers impressive background blur effects.
Its compact design and versatility make the FE 20mm F1.8 G the perfect all-rounder. Thanks to its small size and light weight of only 373 grams, it is exceptionally portable.
In addition, the two XD (extremely dynamic) linear motors enable fast, precise and quiet focusing for both photo and video shooting.
