The S5M2 is based on a newly developed full-frame 24-megapixel CMOS sensor and an image processor that is also new, developed under the L² technology partnership between LEICA and LUMIX. The LUMIX S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 is a rugged, lightweight standard Zoom lens with a focal length of 20mm ultra-wide to 60mm for versatile use from dynamic landscapes to portraits. The wide angle of view also facilitates indoor shooting, and the impressive close-up limit of 0.15 m (maximum magnification 0.43x) extends its use in product photography. The lens consists of 11 elements in 9 groups and uses 2 aspherical lenses and 3 ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses to suppress both axial chromatic aberration and chromatic magnification aberration. Astigmatism can be additionally corrected with these aspherical lenses, resulting in high resolving power. In addition, the UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens enables uniform image quality from the center to the edges of the image and provides a compact design
