Fujifilm X-E5 Body Black
Weighing just 445 grams*1, the X-E5 is a lightweight mirrorless system camera. At the same time, it offers impressive performance: the back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel "X-Trans CMOS 5 HR" sensor*2 and the powerful X-Processor 5 ensure outstanding image quality and fast data processing. With the X-E5, FUJIFILM introduces several innovations to the X-E line. The in-camera five-axis image stabilization compensates for camera shake by up to 7.0
EV stops in the center of the image and 6.0 EV stops at the edges* 3. This ensures razor-sharp images even in low light. Another new feature is the cover plate made entirely of milled aluminum, which ensures a high-quality feel. The new Classic Display mode*4 offers a reduced, clear viewfinder display, with all important information appearing at the bottom of the image. The body design allows quick access to dials and levers with just one hand, so you can keep your eyes focused on the subject through the viewfinder. The X-E5 remains true to the style of the X series and consistently develops it further in terms of design and function. Sophisticated technology and elegant design make the camera a tool that appeals to both beginners and experienced photographers - and reawakens the joy of photography.
Stylish design and intuitive operation
As the first model in the X series, the X-E5 has a cover plate precisely milled from solid aluminum. The characteristic recess at the rear emphasizes the high-quality workmanship of the metal body and facilitates access to the control dials - for a user-friendly and comfortable shooting experience.
The redesigned film simulation dial features a precisely crafted display window that makes the transition to the body appear almost seamless, creating a flawless finish. Personal preferences for film simulation and image quality can also be conveniently stored as film simulation recipes in positions FS1 to FS3. The design of the X-E5 has been refined down to the last detail. The viewfinder and the diopter adjustment are a perfect fit with the housing and blend harmoniously into the overall concept. The targeted refinement of lines and proportions preserves the traditional camera style and gives the housing a stylish, contemporary look. A shoulder strap with an elegant rope look rounds off the sophisticated design concept of the camera.
Visual comfort and quick adjustment
The electronic viewfinder offers a retro-minimalist classic display mode reminiscent of old film cameras. The display is limited to the essentials. Together with a body that allows one-handed operation of dials and levers, users can stay focused on framing without taking their eyes off the camera.
The X-E5 also has a Surround View function: depending on the image format, it shows the area outside the field of view through semi-transparent areas or lines. The viewfinder image conveys the feeling of an optical viewfinder, although it is an electronic one. A lever on the front of the camera can be used to select the film simulation recipes and control the user-defined display modes, such as changing the VIEW MODE, adjusting the image format or setting the magnification of the digital teleconverter.
Powerful technology
An improved gyro sensor and an optimized algorithm now detect movements even more precisely and compensate for camera shake particularly effectively. Despite the compact housing, the integrated 5-axis stabilization achieves compensation of up to 7.0 EV steps in the center of the image and 6.0 EV steps at the edges - for razor-sharp images in a wide range of situations.
Thanks to the high-resolution "X-Trans CMOS 5 HR" sensor, subjects can be enlarged by a factor of 1.4 or 2.0 with the digital teleconverter. The flip-up monitor can be tilted up to 180 degrees upwards and forwards, promoting creative image compositions, from high and low perspectives to selfies. The X-E5 records video in 6.2K/30P and features tracking autofocus for smooth focus tracking and smooth, high-quality moving images.
High image quality and fast autofocus
The fifth generation of the X series is equipped with the back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel "X-Trans CMOS 5 HR" sensor. Advanced image processing algorithms ensure high resolution and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio.
An improved pixel structure enables a higher light yield and makes ISO 125 available as the standard sensitivity. This results in particularly detailed images with reduced noise. With the previous model5,this value could only be used over the extended sensitivity range. The electronic shutter allows ultra-fast exposure times of up to 1/180,000 of a second and therefore extremely precise exposure control. The autofocus system of the X-E5 offers object-oriented subject recognition based on artificial intelligence. The algorithm developed using deep learning technology not only recognizes and tracks people's faces and eyes, but alsoreliablykeeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones6in focus. A new AF algorithm improves tracking performance on moving subjects and increases autofocus precision in low-contrast scenes.

Fujifilm XF 33mm F1.4 R LM WR
Standard lens of the new generation: the FUJINON XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR with high resolution and fast autofocus
With the FUJINON XF33mm F1.4 R LM WR, FUJIFILM presents a first-class fast standard lens for mirrorless system cameras of the X series. Like the fixed focal lengths FUJINON XF18mm F1.4 R LM WR and FUJINON XF23mm F1.4 R LM WR, it belongs to a new generation of lenses that have been developed with a view to future camera sensors with even higher resolution. Even at F1.4 aperture, these lenses offer outstanding resolution,
and the first-class 33 mm fixed focal length (equivalent to 50 mm KB) can be used for a wide range of applications. The high aperture of F1.4 offers additional flexibility in difficult lighting conditions and also enables shots with an exceptionally beautiful bokeh.
The XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR follows the tradition of the X series, which not only impresses with its excellent image quality, but also with its handy design. The compact and robust lens has a splash-proof and dust-proof housing. It weighs only around 360 grams and is 73.5 mm long with a filter diameter of 58 mm.
Brilliant image quality
The optical construction of the XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR comprises 15 elements in ten groups. Two aspherical lenses and three ED glass elements effectively minimize chromatic and spherical aberrations. Even at an aperture of F1.4, a consistently high resolution is achieved across the entire image area, regardless of the shooting distance. Two ED glass elements and an aspherical lens element, which are positioned in the focus group at the front of the lens, prevent unwanted deviations in imaging performance at different shooting distances. This ensures outstanding image quality from the shortest focusing distance to "infinity" (∞).
Universal standard focal length
The XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR offers the popular standard focal length of 50 mm (KB equivalent). This focal length comes closest to the usual viewing impression, as the proportions of objects at different distances correspond to natural perception. The lens is therefore suitable for a wide range of shooting situations, from portraits to reportage and landscape photography.
The standard focal length stands for a conscious concentration on the essence of photography. It frees you from unnecessary options and, with a more careful composition of the image, supports its effect, which is enhanced by the skillful choice of perspective and subject framing. These creative possibilities are further enhanced by the short close-up distance of the lens. The shortest focusing distance is only 30 cm. This corresponds to a maximum magnification of 0.15 times.
Fast, precise and silent autofocus
The XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR has internal focusing, in which the light focus group is brought precisely and silently into the desired position by a linear motor. The autofocus quickly focuses on the subject in up to 0.04 seconds*, so that the exposure is always made at the decisive moment.
When shooting moving subjects in AF-C mode, the focus remains stable on the main subject. This guarantees sharp images even in dynamic situations. Regardless of the shooting distance, the imaging performance of the lens remains consistently high from the shortest focusing distance to "infinity" (∞). The so-called focus breathing is so low that the lens is also suitable for demanding moving image photography.
Manual focusing made easy
The setting accuracy of the focus ring has been improved, which makes manual focusing with a shallow depth of field easier. An optimized gear ratio ensures that the focus is adjusted absolutely evenly, even with minimal effort. The focus ring also has a revised knurling, the grooves of which are now easier to clean.
Compact, lightweight and robust housing
With a weight of only 360 grams, a length of just 73.5 mm and a filter size of 58 mm, the XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR is extremely handy. The slim and stylish design was achieved by a focus group with a small lens diameter and a space-saving arrangement of the AF linear motor.
The robust lens is sealed against moisture and dust in eleven places and can be used without restriction down to minus 10 degrees Celsius. This means that you can take pictures even in wind, rain and freezing cold. The aperture ring can be secured with an automatic locking mechanism (A Position Lock) to prevent accidental adjustment of the shooting parameters.
