FUJIFILM X-T30 II - lightweight and compact system camera with fast autofocus, touchscreen and 4K video
FUJIFILM expands the X series with the lightweight and compact mirrorless system camera FUJIFILM X-T30 II. The model offers high image quality and legendary FUJIFILM colors, as well as several advanced automatic functions and a manual mode. This makes the camera the ideal choice for all beginners and advanced photographers who want to capture high-quality images as uncomplicatedly as possible.
The FUJIFILM X-T30 II combines the compactness of the previous model X-T30 with the features of the current flagship FUJIFILM X-T4. Thus, a high-resolution 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the proven X-Processor 4 work in the 378-gram body - a combination that also ensures, among other things, lightning-fast and pinpoint automatic focusing. The phase autofocus focuses on the subject in just 0.02 seconds and even works in the dark down to -7.0 EV* to reliably focus on objects indoors as well as during twilight.
Among the highlights of this powerful camera model is the enhanced automatic function. The popular AUTO mode has been given a better algorithm, which now analyzes the subject scene even better in order to then select the optimum camera settings in each case in a fraction of a second. This makes it very easy to take landscape photos with rich colors or portraits with beautiful skin tones, for example.
Withthe help of the 18 film simulations, the shots can be given an individual look that suits the scene in question. Choices include "Classic Neg." for snapshots and "ETERNA Bleach Bypass" for an expressive color effect. In addition, a brilliant LCD touchscreen with 1.62 million pixels, as well as videos in 4K/30p quality and spectacular slow-motion sequences, ensure excitement when shooting or filming.
Fast and accurate autofocus
Almost the entire area of the FUJIFILM X-T30 II's 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is populated with fast phase AF pixels. In combination with the powerful image processor X-Processor 4, lightning-fast autofocus is possible, focusing on the subject in up to 0.02 seconds. Phase AF guarantees precise focus even in near-total darkness down to -7.0 EV*.
An advanced AF algorithm ensures precise focus tracking when tracking dynamic subjects. Objects moving toward or away from the camera are reliably detected while the focus setting is continuously adjusted.
Advanced continuous shooting mode
The X-T30 II offers a fast continuous shooting speed. With mechanical shutter, up to 8 frames per second are possible. With electronic shutter, even 30 frames per second are achieved without viewfinder blackout.
Multiple film simulations
The X-T30 II offers 18 film simulations that digitally simulate the colors, gradations and tones of classic analog film. Choices include "Classic Neg." for the typical look of popular negative films or "ETERNA Bleach Bypass" for a creative developing effect. The advanced film simulations allow users to choose an image style that best suits the shooting situation and mood - just as in the past, a different film could simply be inserted to achieve a specific effect.
Advanced AUTO functions
Thepopular AUTO mode, in which the camera automatically selects the settings that suit the scene in question, features an algorithm that offers even better image quality than its predecessor. When the mode is activated, the Color Chrome effect (blue), clarity, dynamic range priority and other settings are now also adjusted depending on the shooting situation, for example to make landscape photos appear more brilliant, sky blue more vibrant or skin tones more beautiful. In addition, the dynamic range is adjusted in backlit shots to prevent loss of detail in highlights and shadows. The AUTO function now makes it even easier to take beautiful pictures in different shooting situations.
Extensive video functions
The X-T30 II can record high-resolution 4K/30p video at 8-bit 4:2:0 to the inserted memory card or output at 10-bit 4:2:2 via the HDMI port. The oversampling of the sensor's 6K data achieves exceptionally high image quality. In high-speed mode, impressive slow-motion images with 10x deceleration are possible with Full HD and 240 frames per second.
Comfortable and easy operation
The camera offers various shooting modes, including the ability to control exposure completely manually using the shutter speed dial, as well as a fully automatic AUTO mode for spontaneous snapshots. The shutter speed dial makes it very easy to read the selected exposure time, even when the camera is turned off. The Auto mode selector switch on the top of the camera lets you quickly switch between automatic and manual modes.
The premium LCD touchscreen, which displays the image with 1.62 million pixels of maximum brilliance and sharpness, allows convenient control of the image result even during shooting
.The 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 covers a wide focal length range from approximately 27mm to 450mm (KB equivalent). It is the world's first Zoom lens from Tamron with 16.6x magnification for APS-C mirrorless cameras and offers all the advantages of all-in-one Zoom lenses suitable for a wide range of photographic applications.
The autofocus system is based on an exceptionally quiet and responsive linear motor with VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) technology. The optical construction of the lens incorporates high-precision special optical glass that guarantees uniformly high resolving power. In terms of image quality, the 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 takes a top position in the class of all-in-one Zoom lenses.
With the shortest focusing distance of 0.15 m at the wide-angle position and the largest possible reproduction scale of 1:2, this lens also impresses with surprisingly good close-up shooting capabilities for this lens class. The 18-300mm F/3.5 -6.3 features Tamron's proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization, which enables sharp freehand shooting even at very long telephoto focal lengths. As with other Tamron lenses for mirrorless system cameras, the diameter of the filter thread is 67mm.
