ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coatings counteract ghosting and flare. Nikons ED and SR glass counteract chromatic aberrations. Thanks to SR glass, particularly effective color error correction is achieved for the blue, i.e. short-wave, portions of the spectrum, which are otherwise difficult to compensate. They achieve sharper images and higher contrast.
