Panasonic Lumix G Vario H-FS 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 Asph.
The LUMIX G VARIO 12-60mm consists of 11 lenses in 9 groups. Three aspherical elements and an ED lens (Extra-low Dispersion) allow a compact design without compromising on quality and at the same time minimize distortion and chromatic aberration.
With its focal length of 24-120mm (KB), the lens is equally suitable for portraits and landscape photography.
Typical for LUMIX, the Power O.I.S. image stabilizer ensures blur-free hand-held shots or shots in poor lighting conditions. It is also compatible with the body stabilizer of the GX8. The dual stabilization (Dual IS) enables even more effective compensation of camera shake.
A fast signal transmission rate of up to 240B/s ensures the fastest response times, especially in combination with the hybrid contrast AF of the current LUMIX G cameras. Focusing is performed by a precise and quiet internal focusing system, driven by a stepper motor.
The LUMIX G VARIO 12-60mm/3.5-5.6 is equipped with a solid metal bayonet. The multi-coating of the lens elements ensures high-contrast image reproduction and minimizes reflections or ghost images.
Dust and splash protection make it the ideal companion even in inhospitable conditions.
Panasonic Leica 100-400mm 1:4-6.3 Power OIS H-RS100400
With the Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f4.0-6.3 (200-800mm KB), Panasonic introduces a high-quality and particularly compact super-telephoto lens for Micro-FourThirds. As the first Zoom under the Leica name, this exceptional telephoto focal length guarantees the high optical and mechanical quality of a top lens. Four Leica DG fixed focal lengths have already made a name for themselves under the Micro-FourThirds standard.
The Leica DG Vario-ELmar has 20 elements in 13 groups, including one aspherical ED element, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements and one UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) element. Despite the extreme telephoto focal length of 800mm (KB equivalent), the optimized arrangement of the lenses enables a very compact design, while at the same time minimizing distortion and chromatic aberration. The magnification of 0.5x (KB) also makes it ideal for macro photography.
The high imaging performance over the entire focal length of the lens, in combination with the POWER O.I.S. image stabilizer, enables maximum sharpness even with extreme hand-held telephoto shots. A tripod is therefore rarely required. In addition, the Leica DG Vario-Elmar is compatible with the exclusive Dual Image Stabilization from Panasonic, which enables even more efficient stabilization through the interaction of the optical stabilizer with the body image stabilizer of the Lumix GX8.
A major strength of the new super telephoto lens lies in its compact design: the lens measures less than 18 centimetres in length and weighs less than one kilogram. Dust and splash protection make it the ideal companion for the Lumix GH4 or GX8, for example for outdoor sports or wildlife photography.
A locking ring on the lens prevents unintentional changes to the set focal length. A movable tripod adapter on the lens enables a quick change from horizontal to vertical shots. Together with the high-quality metal tube, the robust metal bayonet guarantees a long service life. The signal transmission rate of up to 240B/s also supports the fast and precise hybrid contrast autofocus of current LUMIX G cameras.
