Canon EOS R1
Sports photography can be just as competitive as the action on the pitch. That's why Canon has developed the EOS R1 - a camera that lets you shoot faster, capture the moments that matter and be the first to share images and video with your clients.
The EOS R1 has a back-illuminated stacked full-frame sensor with 24.2 megapixels, which impresses with its exceptional sensitivity and impressive speed.
Fleeting moments can be captured with customizable continuous shooting speeds of up to 40 frames per second and exposure times of up to 1/64,000 seconds, with no rolling shutter distortion to speak of. The pre-shooting function allows moments to be captured before the shutter button is fully pressed, while
the use of deep learning technology and AF cross-type sensors enables subjects to be recognized and tracked with the utmost precision. The DIGIC Accelerator processor supports Action Priority mode, which automatically identifies the main subject and adjusts the AF area accordingly in sports such as soccer, volleyball and basketball
. Frame rates of up to 60p and various recording formats are available for high-quality 6K video recording. With the dual recording function, the same event can be recorded simultaneously as Full HD video and 17 megapixel photos in 16:9 format.
In focus: performance
Deep learning and AF cross-type sensors detect and track subjects with exceptional accuracy. Next-generation Eye Control AF allows you to select the AF area by simply focusing on the subject. The DIGIC Accelerator processor supports "Action Priority" mode, which automatically identifies the main subject in sports such as soccer, volleyball and basketball and adjusts the AF area accordingly.
The right speed for the best track work
Capture fleeting moments with customizable continuous shooting at up to 40 frames per second. The revolutionary stacked sensor enables an extremely short exposure time of just 1/64,000 of a second and virtually eliminates rolling shutter effects. Thanks to the pre-recording function, moments are captured even before the shutter button is fully pressed.
Hybrid creativity: Capture photos and videos simultaneously
Frame rates of up to 60p and various recording formats are available for high-quality 6K video recordings. Thanks to the dual recording function, you can capture the same event simultaneously as Full HD video and 17 megapixel photos (16:9).
Be the first to finish
the race - customers can call up photos and videos exactly when they need them. Lightning-fast connectivity makes it easy to use, even under pressure. WLAN 6E1 with MIMO antennas and 2.5G BASE-T Ethernet each ensure extremely stable performance.
The ultimate photographic assistant
The top-of-the-range EOS model is equipped with the latest technology. This includes in-camera image stabilization for 8.5 exposure levels, a first-class electronic viewfinder with 9.44 million pixels and integrated functions for image upscaling and noise reduction. The outstanding processing quality inspires professionals worldwide.
Voigtländer Nokton 40mm f 1.2 Canon RF asph. black
The Voigtländer 40 mm F1.2 Nokton aspherical RF mount has a large aperture of F1.2, is completely manually operated like all Voigtländer lenses and has been exclusively adapted and optimized for the image sensors of the Canon R system.
The lens construction consists of eight elements in six groups. Two lens elements are aspherical on both sides, which contributes to an outstanding imaging performance, offering impressive sharpness in the peripheral areas even at open aperture
. The high speed enables impressive results in available-light photography and offers a wide range of options when changing the focal planes. In addition, a close-up limit of just 30 cm has been achieved, which opens up interesting creative perspectives when composing images. The lens also impresses with its extremely pleasant bokeh (10 aperture blades).
The aperture design has also been designed with video specialists in mind: a switching mechanism allows the aperture to be changed from 1/3 click steps to a stepless, and therefore completely silent, setting.
The lens communicates with the respective Canon body via electronic contacts. In addition to the Exif information and the camera's own 3-axis image stabilization (*1), the lens supports three types of focus functions (magnification, focus peaking and focus guidance) (*2).
Thanks to the outstanding assist functions of the Canon R cameras, the focus can be set extremely precisely and takes manual focusing to a new level. Last but not least, the sober exterior design of the lens perfectly matches the Canon R series cameras and together they form a harmonious unit.
*1 only applies to cameras with integrated image stabilization.
*2 except EOS RP.
