Nikon Z6 II
Nikon Z6 II housing
The Nikon Z6 II builds on the success of the Z6. In addition to its robustness and simple operation, it offers the possibility of recording movie sequences in professional quality. Added to this is its photographic performance. The camera is resistant to dust and dripping water, making it suitable for continuous shooting even under adverse conditions. Thanks to the new option of freely selecting the direction of rotation of the focusing ring, users can focus manually in the usual way.
The camera can output videos for the FX and DX image formats in 4K/UHD and Full HD. Meanwhile, the HLG recording format records more details, a greater dynamic range and higher contrast. This makes post-processing largely superfluous. The improvements to eye AF and animal detection AF ensure more precise focusing of subjects, even when recording video.
These AF functions also ensure excellent results when taking photos and keep pace with the increased speed and performance of the camera. The Nikon Z6 II supports continuous shooting at 14 fps and a higher maximum number of shots: 200 JPEGs or 124 images losslessly compressed in 12-bit RAW format in one series.
The Nikon Z6 II is aimed at users who want to shoot movie quality footage as well as photos with a compact system. The camera is ideal for professional video production or wedding photography, for example, where maneuverability, flexibility and uncompromising imaging performance are essential.
