The S5M2X is based on a newly developed full-frame 24-megapixel CMOS sensor and an image processor that is also new, developed as part of the L² technology partnership between LEICA and LUMIX. Fast and precise focusing is provided by the new Hybrid Phase Detection AF.

USB-SSD Rec

USB-SSD Recording is for photographers and videographers who want to improve backup and post-processing efficiency, for example

• Can record at high bit rate in record mode

Wireless streaming USB tethering
Live streaming can be easily configured via the LUMIX Sync app (Android / iOS). In environments with a lot of wireless interference, stable communication speed can be ensured by connecting the camera to a smartphone via USB.

Wired Streaming
Enjoy highly stable communication with IP streaming over a wired LAN connection indoors. By connecting cameras and PCs via a wired LAN cable, multiple cameras can be controlled to deliver high-quality video and audio up to 4K 60p / 50p. H.264 and H.265 codecs are selectable.
