Nikon Z8

An exciting sequel to the Nikon Z9 and a creative successor to the D850

The Z8 impresses with its blend of outstanding performance and compact design. Weighing just 910g, the body of the Z8 is 30% smaller than the Z9 and 15% smaller than the D850.

This makes

the camera the ideal choice for creatives looking for either a lighter camera for hands-free shooting or a full-frame camera that is balanced on any rig, including most gimbals

.

Z8 - versatile powerhouse for photo and film

The Nikon Z8 is a powerful tool for photography and filming. With its 45.7 megapixel photo resolution and 8.3K native film resolution, it opens up countless creative possibilities.

Highest image quality thanks to stacked CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 processor

The Z8 is equipped with a multi-layer (stacked) CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 7 processor, which are also used in the Z9. This guarantees outstanding image quality straight from the camera that meets the highest professional standards.

Flexibility for every workflow

Thanks to its outstanding image quality, the Nikon Z8 offers creatives maximum flexibility to adapt to any

workflow, with

a wide range of frame rates and codecs available to capture movies. These include in-camera 12-bit RAW for movies at up to 8.3K/60p or 4.1K/120p. Photographers can choose from a range of file formats and continuous shooting speeds, including an astonishing 120 frames per second. There are further options for creating HDR content. The camera can shoot 10-bit HEIF photos and 10-bit HLG movies in addition to raw files

.

Despite the smaller and lighter body, the reliability of the Nikon Z8 is retained. The camera is equipped with professional weather sealing and has the same cold tolerance as Nikon's top models, the D6 and Z9, ensuring reliable performance even in low temperatures.

Nikon's Z8 - the first mirrorless camera with two USB-C ports

Nikon has launched the Z8, its first mirrorless camera to be equipped with two USB-C ports. The

perfect complement - NIKKOR Z lenses and partner accessories

The Z8 is compatible with a wide range of NIKKOR Z lenses to suit every budget and creative idea. Partner accessories such as gimbals and microphones can also be easily used with the camera, opening up additional possibilities for creative image and movie capture.

  • Movie: Shoots pristine 8K or 4K movies and has numerous space- and time-saving features. Users can record 12-bit RAW footage in-camera and choose to work with the professional Apple ProRes RAW HQ codec (up to 4.1k 60p) or the highly efficient N-RAW codec from Nikon (up to 8.3k/60p), which requires half the memory in comparison.
  • Internal 8.3K N-RAW or 4.1K ProRes RAW HQ recordings create in-camera Full HD proxy files.
  • Photos: Captures excellent photos with 45.7 megapixels and high dynamic range. The Z8 offers flexible continuous shooting speeds without viewfinder blackout of up to 120 frames per second with full AF/AE.
  • With the special portrait functions, photographers can fine-tune color tone and brightness or add the finishing touches to portrait and fashion shots with the finely adjustable skin softening function.
  • 45.7 megapixel stacked CMOS full-frame sensor: Developed by Nikon to deliver extremely high image quality
  • .
  • Achieves the world's fastest scanning speed, which in combination with the electronic shutter virtually eliminates rolling shutter distortion
  • .
  • EXPEED 7: Supports lightning-fast focusing, smooth movie recording at high resolutions and high continuous shooting speeds of the camera
  • .
  • Completes complex AF and AE calculations with unprecedented speed and processes dual-stream data separately from the stacked image sensor.
  • Deep Learning AF: Precision detection and tracking for people, dogs, cats, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trains and airplanes
  • .
  • Scene recognition and autofocus work with up to -9 EV for movies and photos. The eyes remain in focus, even if the subject is moving quickly and is upside down.
  • Faces are in focus even in strong backlighting
  • .
  • Real-time viewfinder and tilting monitor: Smooth viewfinder without blackout thanks to dual-stream technology
  • .
  • Bright, tilting touchscreen monitor with four axes
  • .
  • HDR-capable: 10-bit HEIF photos and 10-bit HLG film
  • .
  • Content is instantly visible on HDR screens, no editing required
  • .
  • Dual USB-C ports and dual
  • memory card
  • slot: Separate USB ports for power and communication for fast transfers while charging
  • .
  • Dual memory card slot (CF Express / SD memory cards) for flexible shooting and storage
  • .
  • Handling: Deep, comfortable grip
  • .
  • Separate display surfaces for film and photos.
  • Menus are rotated for vertical shooting
  • .
  • Lightweight and robust: Weighs only approx. 910 g, and the heavy-duty weather protection prevents the ingress of dust, dirt and moisture
  • .
  • The same cold tolerance as the Nikon top-of-the-range D6 and Z9 models means you can work reliably in temperatures as low as -10°C.
  • Optional vertical battery grip: Nikon's new MB-N12 multifunctional grip can be used as a grip for portrait or landscape shooting, or as a counterweight for telephoto lenses as well as for extended all-day shooting
  • .
  • It holds two EN-EL15c batteries

Nikon Nikkor Z 24-120mm f4 S

Different goals. New inspirations. With its long reach, this lightweight Zoom S-series lens offers versatility and convenience without compromising on quality. Every shot is captured with amazing detail. The constant speed of 1:4 offers creative flexibility at wide-angle, normal and telephoto focal lengths

.

Every focal length tells a story

Vast landscapes, impressive architecture, vibrant street photography, captivating portraits - and much more. Thanks to the extremely flexible focal length range of 24 to 120 mm, you can capture all angles without having to change lenses

.

More photography, less ballast

The NIKKOR Z 24-120 mm 1:4 S is extremely handy for a Zoom lens with such a wide focal length range. Stay in one place or move around freely while framing your shot. With such a compact and versatile Zoomlens, you have plenty of options

.

Wherever you are

With

its solid construction, this powerful lens has your back on every journey. It is sealed to protect it from dust and drops. The Nikon fluorine coating on the front lens repels dirt and is easy to wipe clean.

Outstanding image quality

With

a lens this powerful, you'll take the shots others dream of. Bold shots directly into bright light sources. Capture impressive backlit scenes. Stage your subject with soft, delicate bokeh. The NIKKOR Z 24-120 mm 1:4 S opens up completely new possibilities: razor-sharp images with fascinating resolution - right to the edges of the picture.

Consistency over the entire Zoom range

Photos or films: The constant speed of 1:4 enables outstanding creative control. Capture portraits and close-ups with greater depth of field across the entire Zoom range. Change the focal length when shooting movies without changing the exposure.

Convincing clarity

The combined use of ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coating effectively reduces flare and ghosting, regardless of the angle of incidence of the light. You get beautiful images, even with a direct light source in the image

.

Get closer

Thanks to the short focusing distance and the maximum magnification of 1:2.6, you can fill the image section with all the details. Isolate subjects against a wide background or experiment with compression: you can get as close as 0.35 m to your subject with any focal length.

Outstanding video performance

The NIKKOR Z 24-120 mm 1:4 S is a great video lens. The autofocus works smoothly and quietly with virtually no focus breathing or focus shift. When transitioning from indoors to outdoors or between darker and brighter scenes, the stable exposure control allows a natural shift in brightness for wonderfully natural looking footage.

Customizable control

Shooting parameters can be easily controlled directly from the lens. You can use the silent adjustment ring for settings such as aperture, ISO and exposure compensation. You can also assign preferred functions to the lens' Fn button.

Multi-Focusing System

The Z Multi-Focusing System uses two precisely synchronized AF drive units to provide fast, accurate autofocus and dramatically reduce aberrations across the entire Zoom range. They capture sharp, clear images even at close range

Nikon Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8 S

The Z bayonet mount with its exceptionally large diameter allows your NIKKOR Z lenses to direct more light into every corner of the image field. In combination with the small flange focal distance, i.e. the distance between the bayonet mount and the image sensor, this ensures a visible minimization of light fall-off from the center of the image to the edges.

The

result is a new potential for details and fine nuances - everywhere in the image.

Let your inspiration wander. The

NIKKOR Z 50 mm 1:1.8 S offers outstanding quality in available light photography. This, its natural perspective and its razor-sharp focus from as little as 0.4 meters allow you to work freely and intuitively. Use the surroundings of your subject to give it a frame. Or choose a shorter distance for a detailed portrait with head and shoulders.

Reliably precise

Lifelike. Open to light. Both the outstanding resolution of this lens and its brightness (thanks to the elaborate reduction of vignetting) extend into the corners of the image field. This means that every detail of your subject is reproduced with perfect precision - even when you shoot with an open aperture

.

Artful at any distance

Delicate, soft bokeh. Spectacular sharpness. Both combined with the fine shadow and highlight detail of your Nikon-Z camera create an incredible depth of

field.

The image is the goal

The Nikon multi-group focusing with individual AF drive of several lens groups ensures that focusing works seamlessly in every station, with incredible precision and virtually no operating noise. This makes the lens an ideal choice for videography as well as still photography
