The Nikon Z7 II represents the next evolutionary stage of the multi-award-winning Nikon Z7 - with superior subject capture, high resolution and robust reliability. With greater dynamic range, faster image data processing thanks to two EXPEED 6 image processors and the extended buffer capacity, fast shooting sequences of up to 10 fps can be realized. Photographers can now capture up to 200 full-resolution JPEG images or 77 lossless compressed 12-bit RAW images in one shooting sequence.
The improved autofocus of the Nikon Z7 II now also supports the freely selectable wide field of view (Wide-L) for capturing the eyes of people and animals, more effective subject tracking that works similarly to 3D tracking, as well as more precise autofocus control in low light. In addition, the electronic viewfinder (EVF) with approx. 3.69 million pixels provides a more natural image with a high refresh rate and less viewfinder darkening
. The camera was developed for ambitious amateurs and professional photographers who are particularly interested in unparalleled detail fidelity: e.g. Portrait photographers who want to capture even the smallest details of their models' skin, hair, clothes and make-up, or landscape photographers who need robust and lightweight equipment to travel in harsh environments and capture nature in all its beauty.
Nikon-Z bayonet
The camera uses the Nikon-Z bayonet, which allows light to reach the far corners of the image sensor. In combination with the growing range of NIKKOR-Z lenses or the more than 300 compatible NIKKOR lenses with F bayonet that can be attached to the FTZ bayonet adapter, Nikon's tradition of optical excellence and innovation reaches unprecedented new heights.
More possibilities, more details
The Z bayonet with its large diameter is complemented by the large full-frame sensor with 45.7 MP and two EXPEED processors. This results in a greater dynamic range and low-noise performance across the wide ISO range. Video recording is possible with resolutions up to 4K/60p
. Speed and reliability at the highest level
Two memory card slots allow the use of UHS-II SD cards in one slot and XQD or ultra-fast CFexpress cards in the other. Adaptation to different workflows is easy.
Razor-sharp AF with ultra-wide coverage
Absolutely reliable focusing. The camera automatically reactivates the previously selected focus point after exiting idle mode. With a lens speed of at least 1:2.0, exposure metering works down to -4 EV.
Shoot longer faster - in silence
Frame rates of up to 10 fps offer immense flexibility. The large buffer allows largely uninterrupted shooting.
A viewfinder that keeps up
The high-resolution electronic viewfinder (EVF) with approx. 3.69 million pixels offers a high refresh rate that largely eliminates viewfinder darkening when shooting at high frame rates.
Ideal display configurations
Customizable information displays allow settings to be corrected quickly, but can also be completely deactivated when shooting. The electronic viewfinder is switched off when the monitor is folded out for shooting in Live View.
Robust
In rough terrain, in difficult weather conditions and with fog machines on set, the fully sealed Nikon
SnapBridge
The camera's firmware can be updated via a smart device using the continuously developed Nikon SnapBridge app.
