S-Cinetone™ provides natural midtones, smooth colors, and gorgeous highlights that are essential for cinematic expression. Shoot with the S-Log3 gamma curve to achieve smooth color gradation in cinema, and minimize color gradation in post-production with imported custom mapping LUTs. Dual Base ISO (800 / 2500) allows you to capture the best quality images in a variety of lighting conditions.

The ILME-FX30 provides highly reliable and accurate autofocus performance with wide-area tracking across the entire frame. With real-time eye AF that follows the face and eyes (for people and animals), the subject stays in focus. With an optional XLR microphone and XLR handle, digital audio can be transferred directly to the camera for superior audio quality with a very clean audio signal.
